General materials
- Visa application form filled online
- Passport and its first page copy
- Legal stay or residence certificate is applicable to non-citizenship applicants
- Original Chinese passport and naturalization certificate or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who have previously held Chinese nationality and later joined a foreign nationality)
- One recent passport photo, taken without a crown and with a light-colored background

- Round-trip air tickets and hotel reservations
- Invitation letter issued by a unit or individual within China
- Individuals issuing invitations need to provide copies of the inviter's identity documents
The process of applying for a Chinese tourist visa
- The applicant fills in the travel application form online
- The applicant can make an online appointment for the processing time of the tourist visa
- After making an appointment, please print out the confirmation page and form and sign on the confirmation page
- The applicant should bring the passport and other visa application materials to the China Visa Application Service Center in the country where the visa is applied for according to the scheduled time
- Retain ten fingerprints
- The applicant pays the relevant visa processing fees
- If an interview is required, please bring the necessary materials to the embassy for the interview within the specified time
