Main History
Established as a General’s command in 1673, Jilin became a province in 1907. It served as “Xinjing” under the Japanese puppet state, was fully liberated in 1948, and saw its capital moved to Changchun in 1954. Changbai Mountain：known as the "roof of the Northeast", is one of the top ten famous mountains in China.
